Everything Moving to VOD

With COVID-19 currently preventing movie lovers from going to see their favorite films on the big screen, several of the studios have decided to release films that would normally still be in theaters on VOD. Here is a list of everything hitting your home screen.

Sony Pictures Vin Diesel led film, Bloodshot, just hit theaters March 13th. Fortunately for Vin Diesel fans it is now available to watch from the comfort of your couch.

I Still believe

If you are looking for a little hope and love right now, Lionsgate's latest film I Still Believe will do the trick. Based on the life of Jeremy Camp and his journey during his wifes battle with cancer, it proves that sometimes we just have to have faith.

We sat down with the cast recently, which you can watch here.

the Hunt

Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don't know where they are -- or how they got there. On top of everything, it turns out they are being hunted. This controversial film's theatrical debut was originally cancelled, but Universal released it this month...only to have theaters start closing a week later. What, we think, is actually a fun overly satirized comment on polarized America is now available to watch on VOD.

Invisible Man

As the New York Times said, when you watch this movie turn off the lights and turn up the sound! The latest film out of Blumhouse, its' utilization of sound and space make this an intense suspense thriller. When Danielle (our host) watched it she said that it was more suspenseful with each second. Sounds like a great way to get your mind off of the real life scaries.

What some critics are calling the most beautiful film of the year, Emma follows the antics of a young woman, Emma Woodhouse, who occupies herself with matchmaking - in sometimes misguided, often meddlesome fashion- in the lives of her friends and family. Its funny, charming and wittingly fun.

Calling all mom and dads who need a break from the kiddos! Turn Pixar's latest original film on and watch them enjoy. Starring Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, its a heartwarming magical adventure that's both moving and funny.

Birds of Prey

It's open season on Harley Quinn when her explosive breakup with the Joker puts a big fat target on her back. While Birds Of Prey didn't quite perform as expected in theaters, we think it's a great film to watch to get your action fix while you're cooped up inside. Plus who doesn't love Margot Robbie?!

Just Mercy

With a 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, this is a must see if you haven't already. Just Mercy dramatizes the real-life injustice of a young lawyer, Bryan Stevenson, and his history-making battle for justice. Starring Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx, and Brie Larson this films boasts some solid performances and steady directing.

The way Back

Ben Affleck has finally found his way back. His performance is outstanding in this film. He plays a troubled man struggling with alcoholism who was an HS basketball phenom who walked away from the game, forfeiting his future. Years later, when he reluctantly accepts a coaching job at his alma mater, he may get one last shot at redemption. If you want to be moved through a beautiful story of redemption, this is a great choice.

The Rise Of Skywalker was also released earlier this month on VOD with Trolls World Tour and The Gentlemen releasing early next month.
